Trollhaugen has 22 runs, 3 chairlifts, 2 terrain parks (each with rope tow access), and 6 rope tows. Trollhaugen is open until 3AM on Friday nights from late November to March, and lift tickets are only $15 from 10pm to 3am. We offer great deals on lessons for youth and adults alike. We also have 2.5K of XC skiing and a tubing park. With something for everyone - go out and ride the Troll.

Located less than an hour SE of the Twin Cities and north of Rochester in the Cannon River Valley, Welch Village Resort is expanding from 50 to 61 runs for the 08-09 season with the addition of the New Back Bowl. Eleven new runs, a new quad chairlift, and additional snowmaking will make Welch Village one of the largest in the region, offering some of the best terrain, snowmaking and grooming, while remaining one of the favorites of Midwest skiers and boarders. There are runs for all abilities from Northern Route, a beginner run 1 mile long that wraps through the beautiful north woods, to the Wall, a double black diamond, 4 terrain parks to cover all abilities. We offer one of the largest snowmaking and grooming fleets in the Midwest, which enables us to make excellent slope conditions regardless of the snow in your backyard. We offer lessons for all ages & abilities 7 days/nights a week. In addition to great skiing and snowboarding we also have Snow Tubing. Wild Chutes Snow Tubing is one of the biggest Snow Tubing hills in MN. A conveyor takes you to the top of the hill with ease & then you can tube down one of the many lanes by yourself, in a chain, or in a big group of people.
